Six Sentence Sunday 10/9/2011

09 Oct

Hi and welcome to Six Sentence Sunday!  Thanks for taking the time to visit me.  I do appreciate comments, so please let me know what you think of my six.  Each week I will post another six from a work in progress or a finished manuscript.  All you have to do is read and enjoy.  That’s it!

This scene is from my book Some Like it in Handcuffs which is being released by The Wild Rose Press both in print and ebook format.  Release date pending.

Quick set up…Judson (the hunky, hot hero…YUM) catches Sunny (the willful heroine) in a fib.  Just when she thought she held the upper hand and had pulled one over on him, Judson proves he’s not to be underestimated, as is no hot hero worth his weight in hunk.  🙂

Her head jerked up. “You’re spying on me? Following me?”

“If that’s how you want to phrase it, go ahead. I prefer to say I’m staying on top of the situation.”

His cavalier smile told her he knew everything and her heart sank to her stomach, filtered down to her knees then thudded to the floor.

I hope you enjoyed these six.  For more great previews from other authors please click on SIX SENTENCE SUNDAY. Or join in the fun next week with six of your own.

Happy Reading!

Christine

Gotta love a cavalier hero, especially a hunky one! 😉 You did a great job showing the push/pull of their relationship while each one is jockeying for position. Sensational six!
