Hi! Please feel free to browse my blog and if you like what you see, sign up for email updates on the right 🙂
Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday! Thank you for taking the time to visit. I love reading comments, so please let me know what you think of my six.
Today I’m sharing an excerpt from Some Like it in Handcuffs, since we are only weeks away from release…actually 19 days to be exact. YAY!! I was also just notified that my book is available on The Wild Rose Press website to order in advance 🙂 Another YAY moment!! (is it wrong to like exclamation points so much?) lol
Quick set up, this is in continuation from the six sentences I posted last week, which featured Judson and Sunny’s first kiss :)…to bad Judson wasn’t prepared for his own reaction. Men…will they never learn? lol
When they broke apart, Sunny gazed at him doe-eyed. She teetered back before steadying herself by gripping the cabinets beside her. The rosy hue on her cheeks turned a brilliant red.
Judson took several breaths. His heart started to beat again, but its rhythm was off. The kiss was supposed to be a joke, a ruse, done partly to convince anyone watching them of the role he was playing, and partly to piss Sunny off. He hadn’t expected her to taste so damn good, or to feed the need gnawing at his insides.
I hope you enjoyed these six. For more great snippets please go to SIX SENTENCE SUNDAY. Or join in the fun next week with six of your own.
