Six Sentence Sunday 3/11/12

11 Mar

Hi!  Please feel free to browse my blog and if you like what you see, sign up for email updates on the right.

Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday!  Thank you for taking the time to visit.  I love reading comments, so please let me know what you think of my six.

Today I’m sharing an excerpt from Some Like it in Handcuffs, since we are only days away from release…actually 12 days to be exact.  YAY!!  Also, my book is available on The Wild Rose Press website to order in advance   How cool is that?

Quick set up, Judson is picking Sunny up so they can head into the bar where Sunny works undercover.  Again, his attraction to her is more than he bargained for…especially since she’s standing before him in a 20’s style flapper dress…fringe and skin and gorgeous.

Oh man, I’m in trouble now.

Judson’s hand shook as he ran it over the top of his smooth head to the nape of his neck.

Sunny stood framed in the doorway of her apartment. The thin shoulder strap of her dress slid down her upper arm. His mouth watered. She spelled trouble with a capitol T.

I hope you enjoyed these six.  For more great snippets please go to SIX SENTENCE SUNDAY.  Or join in the fun next week with six of your own.

Happy Reading!

Christine

Very interesting that she’s working undercover disguised as a flapper! Or maybe I didn’t read that right. LOL Anyway, the description of his mouth watering at the sight of her is a great touch. Great six!

Nothing like a man finding himself in trouble because a woman’s standing there looking sexy, doing nothing special, and not having a clue. 🙂
