Afterward, check out her giveaway. The link to enter is at the end of the post 🙂
1. Describe yourself in 10 words.
High on life, inspired by nature, blessed beyond normal proportions.
2. What did you have for breakfast?
I usually eat breakfast in two parts: first always is coffee and a banana, followed later by scrambled eggs with tomato, avocado, and cheese.
3. If we walked in your front door, what’s the first thing we’d see?
A decorative cross on the wall next to shelves lined with old, gently used books.
4. What makes you buy a book…the cover, blurb, author, or something else?
Sometimes I buy a book based on the blurb, sometimes the first page, sometimes reviews. If it’s a book by one of my favorite authors, I’m likely to buy it on their name alone.
5. What character in your book did you have the most fun writing and why?
Most fun would have to be Bailey: she is far more adventurous and outgoing than I am. She has layers of secrets and intelligence not yet exposed. I think she could definitely carry her own storyline.
6. What inspired you to write Unforgiven: Soulkeepers #3?
The inspiration for the Soulkeepers Series began with the unfortunate circumstances of my daughter being diagnosed with cancer. The unseen forces of light and dark—that battle every cancer patient faces—brought to mind angels and demons fighting over souls.
7. Let’s play lucky 7…pick 7 words that describe your book.
Thank you to my generous readers for making this one easy. 7 words to describe Unforgiven: intense, emotional, forbidden, mysterious, sexy, shocking, and romantic.
8. Where is your favorite place to write?
I’ve written in a lot of different places: planes, beaches, cafés, soccer games, hotel rooms. But I really like to write at home in my office. I designed my own writing desk, and my very talented husband made it for me. I have an upstairs view of our picturesque backyard. Windows open and I can hear water trickling in the pond and the occasional clopping of horse hooves.
9. Describe your hero in 5 words.
Michael is devastatingly handsome.
10. Now your heroine.
Sophia is brave and beautiful.
11. As a writer I love choosing my characters names. Tell us how you chose the names for your heroine and hero?
Mostly I go on intuition when selecting a character’s name, but Michael Patronus was named after the Archangel Michael. I chose Patronus because it means ‘protector’ so as a guardian angel it worked perfectly. Sophia is a name I have always loved. I felt it was soft but strong like her so it was my first and only choice.
12. What is the first sentence in your book?
After all this time, I have found the reason for me; I have gained what I wanted most.
13. Now the last.
Under the gaze of all those watching, I feel three gentle tugs on my heart.
14. How does your typical writing day play out?
Coffee first, always. After the caffeine kicks in I do a little yoga to settle my mind and plan out what comes next. I like to write through the morning while drinking copious amounts of herbal tea. I always read over previous edits and move forward, revising as I go. With constant interruptions, I usually play some type of Zen music for relaxing background noise. I know I’m in a zone when I don’t hear the music.
15. Care to give us a sneak peek into what you are working on now?
I write NA, YA, and MG so I have diverse interests. I’m one of those weird writers who don’t like to talk details about on-going projects. What I can say is that I have several specific projects in the works.

By: Lori Adams
Releasing April 21st, 2015
Otherworldly desire and paranormal action reach new heights in the final installment of The Soulkeepers. As Sophia St. James moves Heaven and Hell to claim her destiny, questions are answered, secrets are revealed—and immortal love is tested.
After finally becoming a powerful Spirit Walker, Sophia St. James is shocked to discover that her conjured identical twin, Ka—along with her soul—have been dragged down to Hell by the relentless Demon Knight Dante. Sophia tries to hide the crisis, but there is little hope of keeping any secrets from her red-hot Guardian Angel. Growing suspicious, Michael has been making plans of his own that will bind him and Sophia together forever.
But Sophia is plagued with evil visions through Ka’s experiences in Hell. She is terrified that Dante will discover he has taken the wrong Sophia. Desperate to return to her original state before she withers away and dies, she risks everything to go where Michael can’t follow. To bring back Ka and save her own soul, Sophia must now enter the gates of Hell.
